I note the concerns you have raised in relation to the Family Law (Family Violence) Bill 2010 (Cth), introduced by the Gillard Government. I am sorry to hear about your situation.
For our part, the Coalition has always taken a hard line against family violence – the legislative reforms introduced by the former Coalition Government in 2006 reflected that stance. These legislative reforms were based on the central principle that the best interests of the child should be paramount in all family law matters.
Indeed, a recent report conducted by the Australian Institute for Family Studies found that the Coalition’s reforms were widely supported and working well.
While the Coalition is open to proposals that improve the family law system, we believe the reforms proposed in the Gillard Government’s Bill make some undesirable changes to the ‘shared parenting’ system, particularly in respect of the definition, evidentiary requirements and consequences of allegations of family violence.
The Coalition is concerned that some of the proposals in the Bill will weaken the evidentiary test for violence and may have unintended consequences when false or vexatious allegations of violence are made. These consequences would primarily be borne by the children involved.
The Coalition has proposed amendments to the Bill, in particular, to the evidentiary test provisions, which were opposed in the House of Representatives. We are disappointed that the Gillard Government voted against the Coalition’s amendments and consequently, we will be opposing the Bill.
The Coalition is determined to get the balance right when it comes to family law reform and we remain committed to prioritising the best interests of children in all family law matters.

How sad that it is that man is his only enemy all the science knowledge and people with lovely tickets abound yet solutions even to how the hell Egypt and their pyramids abound.
Again and again the only problem I see is one and all of us as if we do not take the blame equally than an equal answer will not come for the best of equality.

Not sure I quite understand all this post, because it is a bit too cryptic for my little brain.
Brad, whatever you intend on doing, always remain safe and keep yourself in good health, if that is possible, until your children are older. You may be surprised that they may start looking for you.
Sorry that things have not worked out for you. The unfortunate thing in todays world, is that the worst criminals are in govt, the courts and dressed in blue. They have no honour!
I hope that one day those of us who have lost children to parental alienation, will enjoy a loving relationship with our children. And that we won’t have to pay through the nose to have it!

Hey mate I see exactly what you are saying and I empathise totally. It is evil the way men have been abandoned in family law. I here yu. I agree & wish I had the means to do likewise. Good luck with your shall we say holiday? I know what it means, I have had to put my fathering of my children to rest (loss therapy) & dont think I’ll ever see them again as they have been separated from me for 10 years by their woemum & now of course the devide is so wide is it too wide I dont know. I dont know if I could even face having them back now as going through having to explain myself to them against what will probablly be a whole lot of my x’s verbals washed into their minds. I dont know if I could take that anymore my mind has become so fragile regarding all this stuff, the tornado of emotions still break me down daily. Keep well mate & try to enjoy hunting for your food

I also feel your pain Danwashere and understand more than you know. I have an elder boy that I did not raise his grandparents did to which I have much respect for them for doing so. This boy never had me in his life but he does now woo hoo. I love him equally to my other children but these are our kids DAN.
These are our children bro never ever give up on them and learn to love your children unconditionally. I know and also am living proof of this my eldest boy after he got to know me a bit he asked me to leave (kid speaking).
Yes I did leave then gave him some space went back and gave the big lug he is a big cuddle told him I will always love him and was not rejected. OUR KIDS NEED OUR LOVE IF WE AS FATHERS CAN NOT LOVE AND PROTECT THEM WHO WILL ?

WOW READ THIS TO SEE WHO IS MENTALLY ILL ME OR OUR SYSTEM?
I am on an AVO not allowed to even send a letter through a court of law to my three children over a lie in court.
Today I get a call to which I replied as my ex is now asking for even more mediation ? I now live over 300km away and without a court order I am not allowed to talk or negotiate with her ? Three years no closer to my kids have done all I can to show my love but this is just fully BS and stinks badly.
This is a perfect example of intimidation against myself and children to which is going on all over our nation in my discussed. Who runs for their life well most of us FATHERS now like me what do We say in this position ? What can We do?
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN UNDER THE AVO SHE CAN CALL AND ABUSE US MALE AS MUCH AS ONE LIKES WITH THE ACCUSED NOT ABLE TO DO A THING BUT TAKE IT.
COME ON OUR CHILDREN ARE THE VICTIMS

Record her calls and give to police prosecutor not any over the counter cop The police prosecutor. SHE is aiding & abetting as restraining orders are supposed to cut both ways. Persist respectfully with the PP & if you can get through to the PP the charges will be laid. I’ve had to persist with PP’s lol & they will eventually act if pressed but if you give them any cause they will reject you no matter how trifling. If the PP doesn’t help ask a family court judge for an audience, you’ll have to book but it is available. You can show them your evidence & argue your point with them. Just breath & take it easy ok.

A disability pensioner of over 15 years misdiagnosed , ms-medicated , misunderstood , misinformed , uninformed , discriminated , assaulted , mentally raped , emotionally raped as well taken from my own mother as a child put into care of two gay men and abused.
Now a FATHER myself I really know the pain of missing a FATHER as a boy trying to grow into a man. I have had lies used against me to continually have an AVO put on me not for protection from any harm to my ex wife or my children but all words. Now I have no right to even send my children a letter or call them. I blame this legislation and its flawed laws to which are not only mentally affecting my children but in ways I can not start to explain coming from this situation as a child myself.
I am also mentally , emotionally , physically , financially and mostly become socially abandoned leaving my children open prey to those same conditions as a child I was subjected to.
The difference her is I love my children and love the woman to which together we brought these innocent children into the world.
Well I had a housing department home with a 100 year lease yes that is correct. My ex wife convinced me to sign the home into her name. I did this only to have an AVO used against me and by my ex threatening in many ways with the AVO I was informed by police to leave and dads in distress and many more.
Over three years apart now I am further away from my children and on depression medication (of course) feeling helpless and lost. Housing department should have re housed me though instead I am awaiting another 10 years waiting list to get a home with a six (6) year lease. I have been on the streets living in the bush and really doing it tough in all these ways. I did not want to see my father and happy my mother left as I watched him abuse my mother in many ways as well as myself. Though this is not the case with my children NO they love me and I know it. They want to come and stay with me be involved in their DADS life as they are their MOTHERS. LEGISLATION’S have been broken against me on many levels although no person or organizations have been accountable. Yet as soon as I brake but the smallest of these LAWS the full force of the LAW is thrown at me. I have so much evidence to say I have done still do and try to continue to do the best to live under a complicated and very confusing LAWS that face a person in my position and condition.
My children need your help now not when they are old enough to do what they please as this will be to late YES I CAN SAY THIS AS I HAVE BEEN THERE. Why do my children suffer at the very simple fact my ex wife is delusional and paranoid over words they changed to lies and keep getting away with at the expense of not only my children but also our future economy as unity and relationships with parents and children are hindered by lies that are swallowed up by these hopeless AVO games this government allows to continue at our your futures expense.
I just want to have a home to live in to have my children as they want and need me like the LAWS should have done for me when my ex wife used an AVO to evict me from my own housing commission home that she had never put her name on any waiting list and now I wait another ten year yes 10x very long years. But no I was neglected by the very legislation’s that are set up not only for SO called NORMAL PEOPLE but also under the legislation for people with a disability. So outcast from my home my children my job to which I was just starting I end up living in the bush growing some dope plants to keep me pain free relaxed only to get stood over by a younger fitter man that planted and grew 70odd plants I was opposed to at all times but was not herd only ignored also by him. So now after the government has broken many of its own legislation against me years before here I now stand accountable for their neglect and another mans ignorance along with a needle habit face court on the 14th of this month for something I should not be. The police had already evidence many years earlier and could have taken action but nothing was done then with police or mental health to say the least. Then when I am at my worst and you have broken your own legislation and law against me in more harmful ways to which I have broken your laws I ask who is accountable for this action or more to the point non action against me in so many ways? I am and was hurting no one yet you have hurt my whole family young and old by sending me out onto the street and leave my children defenseless. Oh do I have paper work to prove these words and lots of it as well as online evidence of neglect and intimidation to say the least. I do now have enough evidence to take the government to court for medical negligence and if things proceed this way I shall do exactly that which will of course costs tax payers well (millions) for mental , emotional and physical abuse and neglect for over 15 years.
WOULD YOU LIKE THE FULL STORY DO YOU EVEN CARE WHEN YOU BRAKE YOUR OWN LAWS WHILE HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE FOR LESS WHILE MY AND OTHER CHILDREN ALL SUFFER IN SILENCE.

Mate, I am truly sorry to hear that you are in this situation. You have been treated so unjustly by this rotten system.
Let’s always remember that the responsibility of the evil all of us fathers suffer, lies with the mothers of our children. There is no way the system, the courts or the abusive police, will ever get involved in our lives, if not for the cunning, lies and deceit of our wives.
The only thing the laws and system do, is they provide the means by which these rotten women can execute their plan of hate filled abuse against us. And their weapon of choice – The Children!
Mate, I cannot offer you any real help to reunite with your kids or to somehow find housing. All I can say to you is that you are not alone and that you have many fathers, who once they hear of your plight, will hope and pray you are treated more fairly and your children are reunited with you.
And I for one do hope you can have your day in court and sue the backside of these mongrels and yep, the taxpayer can pay the millions out to you. Then hopefully you will find yourself a nice place to live and your children will return to you.

Well you already threw out your PAW (yea i find a smile) though one turns into 2x from little things big things grow.
Paw I have so much paper work from medical to police right up to their own legislation’s that ‘they’ Government and all under it to which rule us common or little folk they are going to faint in court. I have been arrested in a neglected and abused situation for growing dope myself and having a young guy put one over me while fragile.
Now the fly ball. I have been living on and off the streets for three years or more until this arrest that police have on file and know I smoke every day have done now since two police officers near KILLED me and was then WELL MS-DIAGNOSED as a full nutter with major grog and drug problems.
Well after betting these pathetic labels and having them over turned without taking their medications being forced upon me through probation parole Mr John Murtus forced me to see Doctor LEADING GOVERNMENT DOCTOR which labeled me within 15 min gave me medication and told I must take. Well I did not but smoked my green and was hardly seen.
Well he told me how I was looking better talking better not knowing or being even close to kicking the ball. I tell him after the 12 months. “”"”EXCUSE ME MR DOCTOR ROBERT DELAFORCE COFFS HARBOUR I have not been taking your medication all this time and you still tell me how better I am getting and could you please put this on paper and change my diagnoses”"”"”"”"”
Well he hit the bloody roof and kicked me out with threats and intimidation. Well now as I have kept all this paper work and have many friends and family that know me enough and what I have endured under governments flawed laws to now hit this court wait until the judge and all bring up my past.
Well I really no lie have kilograms of paper maybe 30 to 40kg going back over 15 to 16 years. Backing me up and now they try arrest me for growing a tree while they failed and mentally rape my family and I. So went through all the legislation for people with a disability and ah oh they are gunna sorry but shit bricks like I have for 15 long hard years.
LEGISLATION for people with a DISABILITY states we must be cared for and provided with housing? But hang I said I was living on and of the streets for the past 3 odd years did I not?
